London 2012!
After thousands of cheers, emotions, experiences and weeks of hard work and competition 2012 Olympics are now over [ :( ].
I really found myself the past weeks very interested in all competitions, always sneaking around in all places to find a tv to keep myself updated of who won medals and screaming in front of the tv like crazy. I was glad to have the opportunity to go live to London, and I must say it was an incredible experience. London was an amazing host for these 2012 Olympics, and I think these games made each one of us proud of our country!
Stay tuned cause i´ll post pictures of my trip to London 2012 soon!
Lots of kisses, Aura.

Let´s talk about shoes..
Hello sweethearts!
Today i´ts a good day to share another D.I.Y I´m in process of making: Neon orange flats!
I´m taking a course that teaches all the necessary steps to make ballerina/flat shoes this summer and I´m loving it! I had the chance to chose the color i would like to make them, I was between a light pink color, yellow or neon orange; I decided orange would be cool, to match them with a purse i bought from Forever 21.
I´ll show you the result pretty soon!

D.I.Y: Dyed Denim Shorts
Hey everybody! Today I´m here with this great and easy D.I.Y to transform those old jeans that we all have, to some grunge dyed denim shorts super cool and original.
Things we are going to need:
-Cut off shorts with fabris scissors
-Fabric dye
-Cutter
-Rubber bands
-Bucket
-Extremely hot water
P.S: Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, my camera was broken.
The first step is basically destroying your shorts with the cutter whereever you want, its totally up to you, but dont forget the line where we cut our shorts.
The next step is tying up your denim with the rubber bands to make a cool effect of washout when we dye. I decided to put rubber bands just at the buttom of our shorts.
Now we are going to mix the dye in a bucket with extremly hot water.
To make an affect of different tones, put little by little the dye in the hot water as we immerse the shorts.
Hold it for about 10 minutes, and then let it dry 30 minutes.
Take off the rubber bands.
To use them, first wash them separately to prevent stained clothes if denim release dye.
Hope you liked this D.I.Y! leave your comments :)

Mani Monday
Hi! To welcome this week I will show you how to make white&pink polka dotted nails, hope you enjoy it!
You will need:
-base coat
-pink, white and black nail polish
-reinforcement stickers
-bobby pin
-top coat
Remove nail polish with acetone if you had them painted. File them.
Paint all your nails with pink polish.
When nails dry, stick the reinforcement stickers in each of your nails forming a semicircle from the cuticle.
Apply white nail polish at the top of the reinforcement stickers and let it dry.
Take off the stickers. Open the bobby pin to use its tip to make the polka dots with the black nail polish.
Super cute and original! Enjoy your Monday :)

D.I.Y: Peter Pan Collar
Hello everyone! Today i´m posting this new idea of doing original stuff by myself (D.I.Y)that you can also make because is so easy and the results are great. The first D.I.Y I´m going to make is the trending Peter Pan Collar. I´ve seen a lot of tutorials of how to do it and most of all are so complicated, so I´m going to try to show you as simple as possible, so lets get started:
You will need:
-Lace (the one sold at the craft store)
-White thread
-Ribbon that matches the lace color
-Bottons to add detail (opcional)
-Fabric scissors
-Something to produce fire.
The first step is to take the end of your lace and measuring from the back of your neck to the center giving it about half an inch extra, because we are going to fold some over later.
Fold it in half, and cut it out from the rest.
Fold it again and cut it in half one more time.
Work with each peace at a time. Put them in place, take one end, and pull it to our diagonal.
Do the same with the other piece taking note that this two parts match and the curve is formed naturally.
Tack the parts we pull out to remain putting one piece on top of the other one, and cut the lace that´s left over.
Add a botton detail on the center.
Cut the ribbon in half and to avoid fray burn the ends.
Sew them to the back of your collar so you can wear it with many different shirts.
And we are finished! A very cute Peter Pan Collar.
How to use it: You can put it in any shirt or sweter that you like, but it looks better if you add it to a plain sweter, gives it a lot of more character and a better highlight.
Hope you guys like this D.I.Y! See you soon!
Aura.
